(ĐN)- During two days, from 12 to 13 July 2008, the Dong Nai Preventative Health Department has launched an extensive mosquito control campaign. The Department’s staff sprayed chemical substances in Bien Hoa city, Xuan Loc and Trang Bom districts where have been hit hard by the disease in order to kill mosquito larvae and reduce the risk of petechial fever. The campaign will be re-launched in August and September this year.
Nearly 1,000 cases of petechial fever have been reported in Dong Nai, two of whom died.
