(ĐN)- Truong Tan Sang, Politburo member and Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee recently paid a working visit to Dong Nai. During his visit, Mr. Truong Tan Sang has investigated the model of cooperative alliance established in Dong Nai.

Established in 2005, Dong Nai Agriculture Service Cooperative Alliance (Dona Coop) includes 9 member cooperatives with a combined capital of VND100 billion. It operates in various types of business (agriculture, trade, service and home craft). Dona Coop has also entered into joint venture with An Phu Long company, Vina Capital company from
Mr. Truong Tan Sang said he highly appreciated the model of union of cooperatives adopted by Dona Coop which created an effective economy. He added that Dona Coop’s succeeds would help Dong Nai province build a new economic model for the province’s cooperative sector.
During his stay in Dong Nai, Mr. Truong Tan Sang has visited Dona Coop’s member units including Ho Nai Handicraft Cooperative and Nam Son Tung Agricultural Service Cooperative.
