The Handicap International has signed an agreement to give the southern province of Dong Nai 300,000 USD to carry out the project “Traffic Safety for a Better Life” from now till 2010.
The project will help the province in traffic safety management and communication, training technicians to deal with “black points” of traffic accidents, and traffic safety education at schools.
The project will also assist traffic police and victims of traffic accidents. It will present the province with traffic safety facilities.
Initially, the Handicap International will give two ambulances, breathalysers, and computers with traffic safety management software and help train about 300 volunteers for first aid.
