Germany’s Bosch Group to build high-tech plant in Long Thanh IP

(ĐN)- The Germany’s Bosch Group will make its first investment in Viet Nam in a hi-tech production facility for push-belts used in vehicles with continuously variable transmission (CTV).

(ĐN)- The Germany’s Bosch Group will make its first investment in Viet Nam in a hi-tech production facility for push-belts used in vehicles with continuously variable transmission (CTV).

CTV technology is known to enable automobile engines to run at efficient speed ranges, increase fuel efficiency and emit less carbon dioxide.

The plant will be built on 160,000 square metres in Dong Nai Province’s Long Thanh Industrial Park with an estimated investment capital of Euro 55 million. It will provide 800 jobs to local people when it comes into operation by 2015.

The Long Thanh Plant, the second CVT push-belt production facility of the German group worldwide, will be able to produce 100,000 belts in the first year of operation.
