Shiseido invests $40 million in plant in Dong Nai

Japan’s largest cosmetics producer Shiseido announced on Tuesday it would set up a wholly-owned manufacturing unit in Viet Nam to meet growing demand for its products in Asia.

Japan’s largest cosmetics producer Shiseido announced on Tuesday it would set up a wholly-owned manufacturing unit in Viet Nam to meet growing demand for its products in Asia.

Shiseido Viet Nam Inc will be established in April to build a factory on a 100,000sq.m site in Bien Hoa in the southern province of Dong Nai.

The plant, with a total investment of US$40 million, is scheduled to come into operation in December 2009
