Ceremony to mark 53rd anniversary of Vietnam Physician’s Day

(ĐN)- In the morning of February 27, Dong Nai’s Health Department held a ceremony to mark the 53rd anniversary of the Vietnam Physician’s Day and honor excellent doctors. Attending the ceremony was Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

(ĐN)- In the morning of February 27, Dong Nai’s Health Department held a ceremony to mark the 53^rd anniversary of the Vietnam Physician’s Day and honor excellent doctors. Attending the ceremony was Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien and Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Huynh Thi Nga highly appreciated the efforts made by the province’s health sector during the past time. She hoped that the sector will continue to strive to reach the 2008 target. Accordingly, the health sector need to made strong efforts to develop health-care system, apply suitable technology in treatment of patients. Vice Chairwoman also pointed to the need for the local medical staffs to update their knowledge and improve their skills.

Before that, at the Tran Bien Temple of Literature, the provincial Committee for Emulation and Reward honored 17 doctors who were awarded the titles of “Excellent Physician” and “People’s Physician” in 2007.
