(ĐN)- A ceremony to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nec Tokin Electronics Vietnam was held on December 4, with the attendance of Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and Japanese Deputy Consul General in HCM city Tatsuo Hirayama.
Nec Tokin Electronics Vietnam was established in 1997 with an initial investment capital of $3.2 million. Until now, the company has raised its investment capital to $20.8 million and employed about 4,000 laborers, with a monthly average income of VND1.3 million. Nec Tokin is expected to reach turnover of around $50 million this year. During the past time, the company achieved ISO 9001 certificate, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification.
As known, the company in 2006 contributed about VND5.5 billion to stated budget; this figure is estimated to rise to VND 9 billion this year.
