Dong Nai provincial Women’s Union celebrates anniversary

(ĐN)- On October 19, a meeting to mark the 77th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20) was held at the province’s Square by Dong Nai provincial Women’s Union. Attending the meeting were Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh and 500 representatives of women associations at all levels.

Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh gives scholarships to outstanding poor students

(ĐN)- On October 19, a meeting to mark the 77^th anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20) was held at the province’s Square by Dong Nai provincial Women’s Union. Attending the meeting were Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh and 500 representatives of women associations at all levels.

Addressing at the meeting, Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh expressed her belief that Dong Nai women will continue to maintain and promote Vietnamese women’s fine traditions. She said that it is necessary to grasp thoroughly and implement strictly the Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW on “Mobilization tasks for women in the national industrialization and modernization period,” recently issued by the Politburo and the resolutions adopted at the 10th National Women’s Congress in order to further strengthen women’s important role as well as their positive contributions to the process of national development.

On this occasion, the Unino awarded 46 Nguyen Thi Dinh scholarships worth 500 each to outstanding poor students in the province.
