Dong Nai donates 1.6 billion VND to build gratitude of houses in Long An

(ĐN)- A delegation from the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province led by Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee recently visited Long An to donate VND 1.6 billion to local authorities for building houses for social policy beneficiaries.

(ĐN)- A delegation from the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province led by Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee recently visited Long An to donate VND 1.6 billion to local authorities for building houses for social policy beneficiaries.

During the past years, Long An province has built more than 6,000 houses for revolutionary contributors. However, there are still many policy families living in remote rural areas and the former war bases in Long An that they are in need new houses. From 2006 to until now, Dong Nai has made a donation of VND 2 billion, drawn from the gratitude fund of the province, to help building houses for social policy beneficiaries in Long An province. It was a "gesture of goodwill toward the people of Long An province," and evidence of Dong Nai’s support to social policy beneficiaries in Long An to mark the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).
