(ĐN)- On June 26, Vice President Truong My Hoa paid a working visit to Dong Nai and was warmly received by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot. On the occasion, she visited and worked with Truong Hai Auto Company (Thaco) in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park and Tri An Hydroelectric Plant in Vinh Cuu district.

In her visit to Truong Hai Co., Vice President listened to General Director Tran Ba Duong’s report about the business and development strategy of the company in the next time. Although established only ten years ago, Thaco has made important contributions to socio-economic development of the province in particular and the country in general. Vice President stressed that the company needs to continue to promote potentials and available advantages in order to be able to compete in the international market; paying more attention to training technical experts and highly skilled labourers; being a company with good working conditions and insurance policy to ensure the best interests for its labourers.

At the working session with Tri An Hydroelectric Plant’s officials and staffs, Vice President Truong My Hoa reviewed the results achieved by the plant in the past time. As known, the plant came into operation in 1988 and eased the serious shortage of electric energy in Southern areas of

Vietnam

at that time. It was the pride of the southern region and the country. The Vice President also encouraged the plant’s employees to overcome difficulties and keep capacity stable to serve local needs as well as contribute to the national power grid.
