After nearly 2 years of construction, the first stage of the waste water treatment plant has been put into operation with a daily treatment capacity of 1,500 cubic meters. The first stage of the project costs 12.2 billion VND. The wastewater treatment adopts UNITANK technology. The plant has a design capacity of 3,000 cubic meters of wastewater per day.

Thus far, Tam Phuoc Industrial Zone has attracted 57 projects, out of which 37 are operational, 17 are under construction and the remaining are under development. The total waste water discharge from factories in Tam Phuoc IZ is about 1,000 cubic meters per day.
