Thong Nhat General Hospital recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and had the honor to receive the Third Class Independence Medal to mark the occasion. Also present at the celebration was Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee.
As Thong Nhat General Hospital approached its 50th anniversary, the hospital has grown from a 250-bed hospital to a thriving 640-bed medical center with a medical staff of 615 persons. The hospital embraces the latest technologies and it provides quality health care to local residents. In 2006, the Thong Nhat General Hospital started construction on a new VND 130 billion facility with 650 beds.
At the celebration, Chairman Vo Van Mot, on behalf of the provincial leaders presented a flower basket to congratulate the Hospital on its 50th anniversary.
