Petrol retail prices in Vietnam has dropped by VND 500 per litre under a decision signed by the Minister of Trade on October 6. Accordingly, the price of a litre of RON 92 is VND 10,500; RON 90, VND 10,300 and RON 83, VND 10,100.

The decision was made due to the recent decrease in global oil prices.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance increased petrol import tax rate to 15% from 10%.
