NEC TOKIN Electronics (Vietnam) launches new facility in Loteco IP

Company’s workers are checking products

(ĐN)- NEC TOKIN Electronics (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. held. an official opening ceremony for its second facility in Loteco Industrial Park on Friday morning, April 14, 2006. Also present at the opening ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and invited guests including Japanese businesses and representatives from provincial departments and agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai undertook that provincial government would always provide most favorable conditions for long-term development of Nec Tokin Electronics (Vietnam) in Dong Nai province because this high-tech project is encouraged to invest in the province. He also emphasized the need to establish two-way communication between employees and management, and trade union and management in order to increase understanding between them. He said that cooperation between management and workers or trade union organization not only a settlement of disputes or disagreements but also the avoidance of disputes which may otherwise arise.

General Director of Nec Tokin VN Sato Shoichi said the company has to date raised its investment capital up to US$ 20.8 million from US$ 6 million in 1997. He also told that the company employs about 4,000 people and register annual export turnover of over US$ 30 million in coming years. Mr. Sato Shoichi said that both the company and themselves are committed to improving communication for both management and workers or trade union representatives, to ensure that there is full understanding between managers and employees.
