(ĐN) – Leaders from Bien Hoa city’s People’s Committee met on Tuesday, January 24 with nearly 100 representatives out of 600 the overseas Vietnamese (Viet Kieu) who have returned to the homeland to enjoy the Tet (Lunar New Year) holidays.
Vice Chairwoman of the city’s People’s Committee Le Thi My Phuong took this opportunity to enhance the provincial economic and social advancement over the past year. She also expressed her joy to the worthy and effective contributions of Viet Kieu to the homeland. She called upon all Viet Kieu to continue to join efforts in order to push forward city modernization for the goal of a prosperous, civilized, beautiful and modern city.
The overseas Vietnamese expressed their delight at the development of the province where will offer attractive investment opportunity to them.
