JICA Vietnam delegation pays a visit to Dong Nai

(ĐN) – Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples’ Committee Huynh Van Toi, yesterday morning of August 15, warmly received a delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency - Vietnam (JICA Vietnam) led by Vice-professor Kiyohiko Kuroda in Dong Nai. Mr. Huynh Van Toi took the opportunity to speak to the delegation about shortage of skilled labour that the province faced. He also expected the assistance and cooperation of JICA (VN) in training skilled and qualified workforce who had extensive experience in the internet marketing, high-tech sectors such as environmental technology and Software Engineering etc. This will help the province accelerate industrialization and modernization cause.

During the visit, JICA (VN) asked many questions to local government related to expand possibility of human resource development for meeting the provincial demands as well as more information about the educational infrastructure of Dong Nai. The Polytechnic University of Ho Chi Minh City is chosen as a place where JICA will receive information from the Southern provinces as well as provide any information relating to the financing project. Lac Hong Private University and Sonadezi College of Technology and Management in Dong Nai will receive information from JICA (VN) as well as implement according to JICA’s programme. This is the first phase of Human Resource Development Project financed by JICA that offers to Cuu Long Delta and Southern developed provinces. Until now, JICA has not yet made a decision where they will finance to implement the project. They are now carrying out a survey and gathering together the results.
