Celebration activities to hold for 60th anniversary of the National Independence Day

(ĐN) - August 8, the Provincial Board for Important Public Holidays conferred about plan in preparation of celebration activities to be held in Dong Nai for the 60^th anniversary of the National Independence Day. A formal meeting is expected to take place in the evening of September 1 at the province’s sporting hall.

All celebration programmes entitled “Light from Ha Noi’s Ba Dinh Square affects on spirit of Dong Nai people”. Before September 1, 2005 Fair – Exhibition with its subject of “Highlighting achievements made on growth of economy and society and great potentials of Dong Nai” will be held in the province’s square. In addition, the province will conduct an opinion poll of consumers for “Vietnamese High Quality Goods”. Eating and drinking area - the whole set up will be great and nice environment for local people and guests. During 5 days in 2- 6 September, many seminars themed “Economic development, to integrate into the world trading system, create favorable environment for promoting foreign investmen and investment opportunities in Dong Nai for foreigner entrepreneurs”. On the other hand, other activities will be organized such as summer camp for youth, recreation for children enjoying, sports and culture and week-long festival providing entertainment for Dong Nai’ locals as well as guests.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Provincial Board for Important Public Holidays Huynh Van Toi requested local units at provincial towns, cities and districts to take imitative in organizing all celebration activities from August 30 until September 3, 05.
