These projects are being executed by the local and the central investors. Their total invested capital is over than VND 10, 000 billions in which included VND 7,500 billions of building up apartments and VND 2,500 billions of constructing infrastructure.

(ĐN)- According to the Provincial Construction Department, at present, there are 150 projects of building up apartments and infrastructure for future resident districts around the province. These projects are being executed by the local and the central investors. Their total invested capital is over than VND 10, 000 billions in which included VND 7,500 billions of building up apartments and VND 2,500 billions of constructing infrastructure. Total area of these projects is 1,900 hectares. It is expected that these projects will provide new residences for 320,000 peoples.
Expansion of new resident districts will speed up urbanization. Up to now, there are 9 urban areas in Dong Nai including Bien Hoa (2nd grade city), Long Khanh (3rd grade city), and 7 towns located in the center of districts, except for new-established districts namely Thong Nhat and Cam My without their central towns. Up to 2010, the local urban areas will be planed to spread over 15,000 – 16,000 hectares. At that time, the urbanization rate will account for 45 – 50 % that is higher than the existing one of 30%.
