(ĐN)- In April 22, 2005, the Final Farmers’ Competition of Clean and Safe vegetable cultivation i.e. using safe and effective insecticide was organized by the Provincial Phyto Protection Agency. As a result, Tan Phu District’s team won first prize.

As a result, Tan Phu District’s team won first prize. In addition, Thong Nhat district’s team gained second prize and third prize was offered to Nhon Trach district’s team. At the present, in the whole province, there is approximately 10, 000 hectares of the growing of vegetable in which the third of this area is used with insecticide by the local farmers.
