According to Dr. Phan Ngoc Son, Chairman of the DNTU Council, in 2026 the university was authorized by the Ministry of Education and Training to enroll 1,913 full-time undergraduate students across 22 majors. Dong Nai's official transition to city status on April 30, 2026, together with major breakthroughs in urban infrastructure, has created positive momentum for the university's enrollment efforts. The number of applicants from other provinces and cities increased significantly this year compared with previous years.
The university is currently completing enrollment for students admitted in the first round, while also announcing a second-round intake of more than 300 students across 22 majors. The university has made every effort to facilitate the enrollment process. In particular, the expanded use of digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly reduced waiting times for new students.
On enrollment day, new students received detailed guidance on tuition fees, dormitories, the learning environment, as well as academic and conduct regulations. In particular, for students from other provinces and cities moving to Dong Nai, counselors provided practical information on living costs, transportation networks and part-time job opportunities for those interested. For new students who are Youth Union members, the university's Youth Union organized their membership registration and activities in accordance with Youth Union regulations.
Dr. Nguyen Van Huy, Director of DNTU's Admissions Center, said that after completing enrollment, the university would begin the 2026 academic program with a series of meaningful orientation activities. These include an introductory program featuring a Legal Education Week and an introduction to the history and development of Dong Nai City for new students.
