Locals also commonly refer to the cross-shaped rock as Elephant Rock, as from a distance the rounded body and raised top of the formation resemble a giant elephant resting calmly in the middle of the rice fields. Its dark gray color contrasts with the surrounding farmland, creating a distinctive natural focal point in the open countryside.

Surrounding the rock are expansive rice paddies that stretch across the landscape, forming a typical rural scene of southern Vietnam. Each season brings a different charm to the area. When the rice plants are young, the fields are covered in vibrant green, while during harvest season, the paddies turn golden under the sunlight. Gentle breezes ripple across the fields, causing the rice stalks to sway like soft waves.
