The Vietnam Wildlife Photo Contest 2025 has just concluded with 739 works by 136 photographers from 18 provinces and cities across the country.

After many rounds of judging, the organizing committee awarded 8 prizes, including 4 first prizes for 4 categories and 4 impressive prizes, and selected 90 excellent works to display at the exhibition "Dance from Nature" taking place at SC VivoCity (HCMC) from November 8 to 14. Mr. Vo Quoc Thuan, representative of the Organizing Committee - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Nature Photography Club (VWPC) shared: "We received many quality works, showing the dedication of photographers across the country. In the wildlife category , photographer Phung Quang Hung won first prize with the photo "Red-shanked douc langur", capturing the moment when a mother and her baby langurs swing from branch to branch in the midst of a bright yellow flower forest on Son Tra peninsula ( Da Nang ). The image is both full of vitality and contains a strong message about the conservation of this rare primate species. Photographer Le Minh Ngoc's work "Stilts" won the impressive prize. In the category of wild birds , photographer Ly Nguyen Long (HCMC) won first prize with his photo of the bird "Giang sen" in Tram Chim National Park ( Dong Thap ). He shared: "I took this photo early in the morning in November, after many photography trips. The moment when two young adult giang sen were playing with each other only happened in a split second. I am very proud that the work was recognized and won an award. This is a recognition of my efforts in pursuing wildlife photography for over 7 years." Photo: Ly Nguyen Long.

Photographer Ho Tan Thinh won first prize in the macro category with a close-up of a spider belonging to the Araneae order. The work impresses with its natural geometric structure and subtle microscopic colors - a world that is difficult to perceive with the naked eye. Photo: Ho Tan Thinh.

In the reptile - amphibian category , photographer Tran Anh Tuan conquered the judges with the photo "Ruby-eyed Viper". The snake's bright red eyes stand out against the dark background, creating an impressive frame that is both frightening and attractive. Photo: Tran Anh Tuan.


In addition to the four first prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded four impressive prizes to works and authors with outstanding contributions. Among them, the works "Bird of a feather (snake neck)" by photographer Nguyen Minh Man and "Brown cobra" by photographer Hoang Thu Huong were honored to win this award. Female photographer Nguyen Thi Thanh Hong won an impressive award with the photo "Lumpy Tree Frog" - the result of 10 years of photography. "Wild bird photography is a subject that requires equipment, time and endurance. Although few women pursue it, I still try to prove that women can do it. I hope my photos spread the love of nature and emphasize that art must go hand in hand with respect and conservation of nature," she shared. Photo: Nguyen Thi Thanh Hong.

From November 8 to 14, 90 works by 48 authors were selected to be displayed at the exhibition "Dance from Nature". The exhibition focuses on the scientific value and conservation education, highlighting the biological authenticity of images, the story behind each frame and ethics in the practice of nature photography. Mr. Nguyen Hoai Bao, Director of WildTour Company, co-head of the organizing committee, said: "This year's exhibition shows a more diverse and in-depth perspective on Vietnam's nature - from iconic species to groups that are less noticed but play an important role in the ecosystem."
