On October 28, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), an agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized a conference to launch and guide the implementation of a program aimed at promoting and supporting individuals, businesses, and business households in establishing a reliable and secure online presence using national domain name “.vn” digital services in Dong Nai Province.

The event was attended by Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, and Do Quang Trung, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of VNNIC. The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions that connected participants from communes and wards across the province.
During the conference, experts and relevant units provided an overview of the online presence program using the national domain “.vn”, guiding participants on how to register and use domain names such as id.vn, biz.vn, as well as associated digital services (websites, emails, etc.).

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology, emphasized that this conference represents a concrete step toward implementing Decision No. 826/2024/QD-BTTTT issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications on supporting individuals, businesses, and business households to establish a reliable and secure online presence using “.vn” national domain services during the 2024–2025 period, as well as Plan No. 131/KH-UBND dated October 10, 2025 by the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee on deploying the program within the province.

This activity holds practical significance, enhancing digital awareness, skills, and online presence capacity for residents, businesses, students, and youth in Dong Nai. It also contributes to improving the province’s Digital Transformation Index (DTI) and E-Business Index (EBI). The program focuses on two main groups: enterprises and business households, as well as individuals, particularly young people aged 18 to 23.
