On September 4, three Su30-MK2 fighter jets of Regiment 935 returned to Bien Hoa Airport after successfully completing mission A80 in the capital city of Hanoi.
Earlier, as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Regiment 935 (Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force Service) was mobilized to perform duties at Regiment 927, Division 371 (Kep Airport, Bac Ninh province) with three Su30-MK2 aircraft and more than 70 officers and soldiers.
After more than one month of thorough and intensive training with high determination, the pilots and support personnel of Regiment 935 successfully carried out flight training and participated in the flypast celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi.
On September 4, pilots of Regiment 935 flew the Su30 combat aircraft from Kep Airport and safely landed at Bien Hoa Airport in an atmosphere of joy, excitement and pride, shared by all officers and soldiers of the entire regiment.
“The pilots of Regiment 935 trained intensively and ensured absolute safety during the flypast in celebration of National Day on September 2, completing the mission with excellence. This is not only the success of Regiment 935 but also a common joy for Division 370 as well as all officers, pilots, and support personnel of the regiment,” said Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thanh Luan, Deputy Commander of Regiment 935, who directly participated in the A80 mission.
