On the morning of September 9, the Dong Nai Provincial Lawyers’ Association held a conference to introduce its new provisional Executive Committee for the 2024–2029 term, following the merger of both former Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc provincial Lawyers’ associations.
The new provisional Executive Committee consists of 37 members. Phan Van Chau, Chairman of the former Dong Nai Provincial Lawyers’ Association, has been assigned to serve as Chairman until the official congress is held.
According to a report from the Dong Nai Provincial Lawyers’ Association, in the first nine months of 2025, the association's plans and activities have closely followed the guidance and leadership of the Vietnam Lawyers’ Association, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai. The thoughts of cadres and members have remained firm before and after the merger, with absolute trust in the leadership of the Party cell and the association’s Executive Committee.

In the first nine months of 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial Lawyers’ Association has organized 43 conferences to disseminate and raise awareness of legal knowledge for nearly 3,800 officials, civil servants, members, enterprises, and local residents; promoted 52 laws and resolutions adopted by the National Assembly through social media platforms; and provided free legal consultation and assistance to nearly 1,800 people.
The conference also gathered opinions on personnel matters in preparation for the election of the new Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Board, and positions of Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons of the Dong Nai Lawyers’ Association for the 2024–2029 term.
