53 official members elected to the VFF committee of Dong Xoai ward, 2025-2030 term

This morning, September 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Xoai Ward, Dong Nai Province solemnly held its first Congress for the 2025–2030 term. This is the first locality selected by the province to organize a pilot congress at the commune/ward level.

Attending and directing the congress was Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai Province. Also in attendance were Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai Province; Tran Tue Hien, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of the former Binh Phuoc Province; along with leaders of provincial departments, Dong Xoai Ward authorities, and 140 delegates representing people from all walks of life in the ward.

During the last term, the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward and its member organizations effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements and campaigns; grasped the thoughts, sentiments, and aspirations of the people to provide timely encouragement and support; thereby strengthening the relationship between the people, the Party, and the State. This promoted the great national unity bloc, successfully achieving socio-economic development goals and targets, maintaining political security, and ensuring stability of religious and belief situation in the locality.

In the past term, the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward mobilized over 171 million VND for the For the Poor Fund; supported the repair and construction of 4 houses and assisted 20 disadvantaged households with a total of more than 147 million VND; presented over 5,000 gifts worth more than 2.4 billion VND to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households during holidays and Tet.

In addition, promoting the tradition of mutual assistance, the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward mobilized over 657 million VND to support people in the northern region affected by natural disasters and promptly delivered it to help them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Delivering her directive speech at the congress, Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai Province, praised the achievements of the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward. She also requested stronger focus on content and methods of propaganda and mobilization, building a solid great national unity bloc, and promoting people’s strength in reaching consensus on the province’s major guidelines and policies, especially in land clearance and urban development.

She further emphasized the need to expand effective self-management models in public security, environmental protection, and traffic safety; as well as to innovate approaches, shifting from short-term support to sustainable livelihood creation, entrepreneurship, and poverty reduction.

With the spirit of solidarity, democracy, and responsibility, the congress reached a consensus to elect 53 official members to the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward for the 2025–2030 term. It also elected 2 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the first Congress of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai Province, 2025–2030 term.

At its first meeting, the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward for the 2025–2030 term held a consultation to elect its Standing Committee, including the Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons. Bui Anh Khoa was re-elected as Chairperson of the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward for the new term.
