On March 3, Dong Nai -2 Hospital in Tam Hiep Ward officially launched its Assisted Reproduction Clinic, introducing Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) services. This endeavor marks the fourth medical facility in the province authorized to perform advanced fertility support techniques.
A decade ago, Dong Nai General Hospital and Au Co Hospital implemented this technique; in 2025, Long Khanh Regional General Hospital implemented the IUI technique for 15 couples. This initiative is the most advanced, widely used, and least expensive reproductive support method currently available, marking a new step forward in obstetrics in Dong Nai.

At Dong Nai -2 Hospital, couples will be examined and advised by doctors to undergo tests to identify the cause of infertility. After the cause is identified, the patient will undergo the IUI procedure.
According to Dr. Truong Thiet Dung, Medical Director of Dong Nai -2 Hospital, the rate of infertility is increasing, so the implementation of the IUI reproductive support clinic is extremely practical. This model not only expands treatment opportunities for couples wishing to have children but also helps them access modern reproductive support techniques at an appropriate cost, reducing financial pressure and shortening their journey to finding the happiness of parenthood.
After a long period of preparation, the hospital has fully equipped its facilities with specialized medical gear and a highly trained professional team. This undertaking will be an essential foundation for the implementation of in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques at the hospital in the future.
