(ĐN)- According to the provincial Department of Health, there are currently 8 pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Dong Nai province.

Of these, 5 companies have their headquarters located in Bien Hoa city; 2 companies have their headquarters in Nhon Trach district; 1 company has its headquarter in Long Thanh district.

With a large area and dense population, Dong Nai also has a very large number of pharmacies and drugstores with 42 wholesale drug establishments; 270 retail establishments for herbal medicine and traditional medicine; 1.3 thousand pharmacies; 2.4 thousand drugstores. In addition, there are also 21 cosmetic manufacturing establishments in the province.
