(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded 309 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to 7am on September 17 with no COVID-19 infections in the community, down 257 infections against the previous day, according to the provincial Centre for Disease Control.
Bien Hoa city remained the largest hotspot with 162 cases, followed by Trang Bom district with 58, Nhon Trach 40, Vinh Cuu 24, Long Thanh 22.
The new cases brought the provincial tally in Dong Nai to 38,111.
The number of deaths related to the pandemic is kept at 341 while that of recoveries are recorded at 17,929.
By September 17, more than 1.7 million people have been vaccinated, of those 92,500 people have been given two doses.
