(ĐN)- Dong Nai logged 808 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours to 7 am on September 24, bringing the province's total tally to 43,938.
The new infections include 4 in the community, 547 in quarantine sites and 257 in locked-down areas.
Bien Hoa city is still the hardest hit with 386 new cases, followed by Nhon Trach district (202) and Trang Bom (183).
The province reported 8 virus-related deaths on September 23, bringing the total number of fatalities to 407.
11,919 patients were declared to have recovered on the same day, taking to the total number of recoveries to 487,262.
Dong Nai has so far administered 1,881,426 doses of COVID-19 vaccines; some 115,380 people have fully received two shots.
