(ĐN)- An additional 752 COVID-19 infections were recorded in Dong Nai in the past 24 hours to 7pm on September 23, the Department of Health announced.
Bien Hoa city, which is the province’s current largest pandemic hotspot, continued to report the highest number of infections with 410 cases. It was followed by Nhon Trach district (170), Vinh Cuu (98) and Long Thanh (32).
The province has to date logged 43,151 COVID-19 cases.
A total of 761 patients were given the all-clear from coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 on September 23, raising the total number of recoveries to 22,146.
The death toll rose to 399 after an additional 7 deaths were announced on the same day.
So far, 78.1 percent of local people have been given the first vaccine shot, with 4.7 percent receiving both shots.
