(ĐN)- About 48,776 children aged from 6-36 months across Bien Hoa city and 7,384 mothers who will give birth in coming months will receive free vitamin A pills on December 1-2.
This is part of activities aims at reducing the high rate of malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies in children in the city.
On this occasion, communication campaigns have been put forward to strengthen the awareness of the community, especially mothers, of micronutrient deficiencies by providing them advice on reasonable nutrition, dietary regimes and supplements of vitamin A.
