At the working session, Ms. Minagawa Mamiko introduced the province’s leader new volunteer, Ms. Nagano Asaka, who will work at Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Division of Dong Nai General Hospital.
The program aims to boost technical exchange in medical sector as well as solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Japan and Vietnam, in general, and Dong Nai province, in particular.

Ms. Minagawa Mamiko expressed her hope that the province leader and Dong Nai General Hospital will create favorable condition for the volunteer in her two years of mission at the hospital.
Speaking at the session, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep briefed the delegation on the province’s socio-economic development, adding that Dong Nai province has received 5 volunteers to help people with illness from 2011 to 2015.
She also thanked and acknowledged the contributions made by volunteers form JICA to the health sector, hoping that JICA would continue its medical support to the province in the future.
