After the surgery, the patient named Nguyen Thi Bich Lien, aged 26, a resident in Tan Phu district’s Phu Trung commune, who suffered from inborn heart disease, had recovered.
Thong Nhat General Hospital’s Director Pham Van Dung said that heart surgery is hard and sophisticated. The hospital has spent 3 months to well prepare equipment and human resourcesto conduct the first kind of the surgery, he added.
