(ĐN)- Director of Dong Nai Social Insurance Department Pham Van Men said that over 2 million people, or 71% of the population in Dong Nai province, have participated in health insurance service in the first 3 months of the year, 3,000 health insurance cards higher than those in 2015.
In March alone, the number of health insurance cards saw sharp increase with over 16,000 cards. The increase is attributed to the policy of hospital fees rise, contributing to make more and more people take part in health insurance service.
In the coming time, the department will boost the development of social insurance users, especially for students, households in Tan Phu, Cam My, Xuan Loc,Thong Nhat and Dinh Quan districts, and provide financial support for ethnic minority people, poor households to take part in social insurance.
