(ĐN)- Health insurance has covered 70.6% of the population in Dong Nai as of late 2015, 0.6% higher than target assigned in a decision signed by the Prime Minister, asking 63 cities and provinces to implement, Dong Nai Social Insurance said.
In the period, as many as 2,004,420 people in the province have participated in health insurance, a year-on-year increase of 10%.
Director of Dong Nai Social Insurance Pham Van Men said that in addition to facilitate health insurance coverage, the sector has actively implemented the applications of electronic transactions with organizations and businesses across the province. Thus, there are 100% of the organizations and businesses to use electronic transactions instead of paper documents between April and August in 2015.
As a result, Dong Nai Social Insurance were commended by the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance for its outstanding performance in increasing health insurance coverage, and awarded 1st prize among the sector for its outstanding performance in applying electronic transactions.
