(ĐN)- The third National Congress of the Vietnam Young Physicians’ Association for the 2015-2020 term opened in Hanoi on January 6-7.
Dong Nai Young Physicians Association’s four representatives attended the event.
Over the past five years, Vietnamese young physicians have made remarkable contributions to public healthcare despite difficulties and challenges. Together with young physicians nationwide, the province’s physicians provided free medical check-ups and medicines totaling over VND1.3 billion to more than 84,000 needy people, students in remote areas. Besides, Dong Nai and Thong Nhat General Hospitals’ Young Physicians Clubs offered free healthcare to more than 2,500 disadvantaged people in Kon Tum and 1,800 poor people in Laos.
Chairman Ngo Duc Tuan of Dong Nai Young Physicians Association said that the association would continue efforts to conduct scientific research and be a common house for young physicians who are learning and working to contribute to the cause of public healthcare.
