Earlier, on June 4, the man named Tran Cong Luc, living in Tan Phu district’s Phu Lam commune, was brought to the hospital in a critical condition. Tam was unconscious and had lost a lot of blood due to multiple traumatic injuries in abdomen and chest.
Doctors diagnosed his health condition and gave him an emergency operation. The patient’s condition improved and recovered after five hours of operation.
According to Doctor Dinh Gia Chung, Head of the hospital’s Surgery Division, major artery rupture is rare trauma, adding this is a complicated surgery with high death rate due to the patient had lost lots of blood.
