(ĐN)- Hundreds of teachers and students from schools of Trang Bom district registered to donate blood at a festival held at the locality.
Organised by the district’s Red Cross Chapter in conjunction with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre, the event collected 182 units of bloods to provide for hospitals.
Over the past time, the campaigns to calling for blood donation have received warm response from students and teachers in the district. The activity is expected to contribute to rescuing many people from death.
Earlier, Thong Nhat district Red Cross received 118 units of blood from locals and state employees.
