(ĐN)- Dong Nai Red Cross Association in cooperation with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a humanitarian blood donation program to respond to the 2014 “Pink drops of blood” summer campaign.
The event received wholehearted support from local officials and state employees and collected 217 blood units.
Earlier, Bien Hoa city’s Red Cross Chapter received 200 units of blood from donors who are policemen.
The “Pink drops of blood” campaign is organized from May 8 to September 2 by Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre aiming to ease the blood shortage local hospitals and HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital during the summer.
