(ĐN)- According to the report from the provincial HIV/AIDS Prevention Centre, the total number of people infected with HIV in Dong Nai saw the sharp decrease in 2013, down 17% compared to the same period in 2012.
The decrease was due to the projects to reduce the infection rate among high-risk people that were implemented at many localities in the province.
The total number of people infected with HIV in Dong Nai has reached about 6,000 so far, accounting of 0.3 percent of the province’s total population which is lower than the rate in many provinces and cities in the country.
