The event received wholehearted support from civil servants and people living in Bien Hoa city, and collected 266 blood units blood to help needy patients.
In 2014, the province plans to launch humanitarian blood donation campaigns to collect some 28,000 blood units.
The Pink Spring Festival is organized annually by the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion aiming to ease the blood shortage in the health sector after Tet holiday.
