As part of their activities in Champasak, the Vietnamese medical group will also hold a symposium to support the province’s heath sector in preventive health, food hygiene and safety, and personnel training.
According to Huynh Minh Hoan, director of Dong Nai provincial Health Department, the assistance not only helps the Lao province in training human resources, transferring new technology, but contributing to consolidating the friendship between the two provinces and the two countries as well.
This is the third time Dong Nai province sent doctors to Champasak for free medical check-ups.
In the coming time, the province will receive doctors from Laos for training in its hospitals.
