(ĐN)- As end of 2011, 100% of medical stations in Dong Nai province met the national standard of healthcare services.
However, the Ministry of Health has recently issued a set of new criteria for the next 10 years. Under the new standard, the medical stations have to meet higher requirements such as standards on professional skills for doctors, health insurance rates among patients and health education information.
Presently, only 30% of the province’s medical stations meet the new standard, said Director of Health Department Huynh Minh Hoan.
The province set targets that by 2017 all medical stations will reach the new standard.
