In the 2026–2030 period, Xuan Loc commune continues to prioritize the development of large-scale commodity agricultural production in tandem with sustainable development.

Accordingly, the locality will further expand concentrated farming areas that apply advanced science and technology in a coordinated manner and meet food safety standards.

On the ground, agricultural production across the commune has been increasingly mechanized at all stages, while value chain linkages associated with food safety assurance have gradually taken shape. Based on local conditions, Xuan Loc commune has identified its key crop and livestock products, while encouraging the application of digital transformation to enable traceability of these flagship products.

Specifically, major crops such as durian, mango, pomelo and pepper have been granted planting area codes for export and domestic consumption. In livestock farming, particularly pig and poultry production, farms have adopted the Te-food software using blockchain technology to facilitate traceability and livestock declaration.

In addition, the commune continues to scale up production models meeting organic, VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards, thereby enhancing product value. At the same time, it has raised public awareness on the importance of trademark registration and protection, while supporting the development of product branding and labels. Notably, key local products are now available on various e-commerce platforms, including online marketplaces and social media channels such as TikTok, Facebook, Zalo and Cho Tot.

In 2026, Dong Nai province aims for five communes to meet the new-style rural standards under the national criteria for the 2026–2030 period. These updated criteria introduce several new indicators, while existing ones have also been raised to higher requirements compared to the previous phase.

To date, Xuan Loc remains the only commune in the province to have fulfilled all 47 indicators under the 2026–2030 new-style rural standards. Among these are several challenging targets, including the full asphalting and concreting of all local roads, along with the installation of lighting systems, traffic signs, directional signage, tree planting and regular drainage dredging, which together contribute to the gradual completion of the transport network.

Meanwhile, the electricity system serving both daily life and production has been synchronously upgraded, with power lines extended to farming areas to better support agricultural activities. Rural commercial infrastructure has seen steady improvements in both quality and scale, meeting the growing demand of shoppers and the market, while facilitating state management.
