Alongside residents in 34 provinces and cities nationwide, 30,000 people, including officials, workers, members of the armed forces, pupils, and students, took part in the “Moving Forward with Vietnam” walking event in Dong Nai.

On the morning of August 30, the program, jointly organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, was held simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities nationwide. In Dong Nai, 40 wards and communes across the city took part, with the main venue at the Dong Nai City Sports Training and Competition Center (Tan Trieu Ward), which attracted more than 4,000 residents.

Before relaying the program from the main venue in Hanoi, the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a musical performance featuring lively acts by artists and performers from the Dong Nai Art Theater, creating an upbeat and festive atmosphere.

In Binh Phuoc Ward, nearly 1,000 officials, civil servants, public employees, members of the armed forces, youth union members, and local residents enthusiastically participated in the “Moving Forward with Vietnam" program. According to the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the “Moving Forward with Vietnam” walking event across Dong Nai City attracted more than 30,000 participants in over 40 communes and wards.

This was a highly meaningful activity aimed at promoting physical exercise and sports, improving public health, and fostering an active lifestyle, thereby contributing to the effective implementation of the campaign “All People Exercise Following the Example of Great President Ho Chi Minh.”

With participants walking together along local roads, the program not only provided a healthy community activity but also inspired national pride, solidarity, and a determination to pursue progress among officials and residents. It was also a meaningful activity held to celebrate the country’s major national holidays, contributing to the building of a healthy, civilized, and progressive community.

The second nationwide “Moving Forward with Vietnam” walking event was held simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities, continuing an initiative launched by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security in 2025. This year, the program also received participation from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.
