According to Nguyen Ngoc Yen, Director of the Dong Nai Museum, the museum has coordinated with Hung Vuong Secondary School and the Air Force Regiment 935 (Tran Bien Ward) to organize hands-on activities such as making ‘banh chung’ (square sticky rice cake) and ‘banh giay’ (round glutinous rice cake). In addition, the museum holds an incense-offering ceremony in tribute to the Hung Kings at the relic site of the Tran Bien Temple of Literature, along with another incense-offering ritual and a procession carrying offerings to the Hung Kings Temple in Tam Hiep Ward. These activities aim to honor ancestral roots and educate younger generations about traditional values.

At the commune level, the Hung Vuong Cultural Park in Trang Bom Commune is among the regular venues for holding the commemoration ceremony. According to Tang Thuy Phuong Khanh, Deputy Director of the communal Cultural and Sports Center, commemorative activities include palanquin processions, the offering of traditional cakes to the Hung Kings and ancestors, as well as cultural and sports exchanges. The site attracts more than 20,000 visitors annually, with students making up a significant proportion. It also serves as a community hub for Quan Ho folk singing clubs, wellness exercises, and other cultural activities.

In other wards and communes such as Tam Hiep, Dau Giay, Phu Rieng, and Phu Lam, ceremonies marking the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day are held simultaneously on the 10th day of the third lunar month. In addition to the ceremonial segment, Tam Hiep Ward held an exchange program themed Source of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day on the evening of April 24, while Phu Rieng Commune has showcased OCOP (One Commune One Product) goods from four localities: Phu Rieng, Long Ha, Binh Tan, and Phu Trung, and organized cultural performances under the theme Returning to Ancestral Roots – Dong Nai Taking Flight with the Young Generation.
