A highlight of the festival is the harmonious blend of folk beliefs with the moral principle of showing gratitude to one’s roots. In addition to the offering rituals and incense offering at Ba Ra Temple, the Organizing Committee also held a memorial ceremony at the Martyrs' Cemetery on the afternoon of April 18. It is this connection that adds depth to the festival, making Ba Ra Temple not only a place for the spiritual and cultural activities of the people, but also a reminder of historical traditions and a sense of gratitude towards previous generations.

Ba Ra Temple worships Ba Chua Xu Nuong Nuong (Lady of Nuong Nuong Realm), often called Linh Son Thanh Mau Ba Ra (Mother Goddess of Ba Ra Mountain). In 2015, Ba Ra Temple was recognized as a provincial-level cultural and historical relic. In 2019, the Ba Ra Temple Festival was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, marking an important step in the preservation and promotion of heritage. This is not only a source of pride for local community but also contributes to enriching the Vietnam’s folk culture treasure.
