Tran Bien ward leads the Dong Nai province Vovinam Clubs Championship 2025

Tran Bien ward achieved an overwhelming victory with 12 gold medals, topping the overall rankings at the Dong Nai province Vovinam Clubs Championship 2025.

On the afternoon of November 16, the Dong Nai Province Vovinam Clubs Championship 2025, organized by the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the provincial Vovinam Federation, concluded after 3 days of competition at the Dong Nai Sports Training and Competition Center (Tan Trieu ward).

At the end of the tournament, Tran Bien ward dominated the forms category with 7 gold medals along with 5 gold medals in the combat weight classes, finishing first overall with 12 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.

Tan Quan commune excelled in the combat events, winning 7 gold medals and adding 2 more in the forms category, finishing second overall with 9 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals and also earning 9 gold medals but falling short by one silver compared to Tan Quan, Long Khanh ward placed third with 9 gold, 1 silver, and 8 bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Binh Phuoc ward secured 5 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, placing fourth. Four units won 2 gold medals each: Thien Hung commune, Xuan Lap ward, Long Thanh commune, and Tam Hiep ward. Additionally, two communes, namely Nhon Trach and An Phuoc, each earned 1 gold medal.

This year’s championship took place from November 14 to 16, attracting nearly 400 athletes from 22 communes, wards, and clubs across the province, competing for 46 sets of medals (21 forms events, 25 combat events) in two age groups: championship and youth.
