Preliminary round of the photo contest "Beauty in the labor"

On the afternoon of October 8, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Dong Nai Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize the preliminary round of the photo contest with the theme "Female workers and civil servants of Dong Nai - Beauty in labor".

This occasion is the first time the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation has organized a photo contest about female workers and laborers. The contest aims to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - 2025) as well as to welcome the success of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, the Dong Nai Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, and the Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.

At the same time, efforts should be intensified to promote communication and mobilize women to develop comprehensively, preserve cultural identity, and continuously pursue learning for personal growth. This occasion also presents an opportunity for exchange, learning, and enhancing cultural and social knowledge, joining hands to successfully achieve the province’s development goals and tasks.

The contest attracted 71 grassroots trade unions from agencies, units and enterprises in the province to participate. Each participating unit selected up to 10 best photos to participate.

As required, the contest photos feature female workers, civil servants, and laborers in attire appropriate to their working environment at their unit or enterprise, aiming to honor traditional beauty, diligence, and the spirit of emulation in production labor. Notably, under the judging criteria, the Organizing Committee stipulates that the photos must reflect natural beauty, charisma, the story behind the image, and a clear connection to the working environment.

The final ranking round will be announced at the "Dong Nai Women - Confident Integration" Festival in 2025, in the near future.
